Nature

At the heart of the weekend lies the belief that mindfulness holds the potential to transform our day-to-day experiences. By paying attention, moment by moment, we can become aware of the endless possibilities unfolding in our lives.

Where better to experience the richness of life and its endless possibilities than in nature?

This weekend is a joint venture with our good friend Gary Heads of Living Mindfully CIC and combines Mindfulness Practice, Being in Nature and brilliant conversation in a tranquil rural setting.

There will be guided meditations and conversations about the power of living in the moment. On guided walks, you will be encouraged to spend time with yourself in nature in a safe structure, to start to experience the interconnectedness of all living things, which is to be found in deep meditation and in contemplative wandering in the hills and more.

There will also be the fun of walking at the level to suit you and stretch you with like minded folks.

Our base, Blackton Grange, is a traditional stone built farmhouse enjoying fabulous views over a picturesque valley between Middleton in Teesdale and Barnard Castle. It is situated in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the European Geopark, and is home to some of the country’s best walking and an abundance of wildlife.

When: Friday 24th September, 6.00 for 6.30 dinner, to Sunday 26th September, 1pm.

Where: Blackton Grange situated in the beautiful and peaceful North Pennines, close to the borders of County Durham, Cumbria and North Yorkshire. Directions here.

Price: Just £197 including two nights accommodation and all meals, which we prepare and eat together. Accommodation is in shared twin and triple rooms. (some concessions available, please get in touch)
